How to Get to Mala Beach
Mala Beach is located at the end of the Chemin des Douaniers coastal path, accessible from the centre of Cap d’Ail. From Hotel Miramar, simply head down towards the sea and follow the coastal path westwards.
The walk takes around 10 minutes. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as parts of the path can be rocky.
If you are travelling by car, parking is available in Cap d’Ail. However, walking from the hotel remains the most convenient and enjoyable option.
What to Do at Mala Beach
Mala Beach is a pebble beach sheltered by two impressive cliffs, protecting it from the wind and creating a peaceful atmosphere. The water is exceptionally clear, with shades ranging from turquoise to deep blue depending on the time of day.
It is an ideal spot for swimming, snorkelling and freediving, thanks to its rich and diverse marine life.
Two beach restaurants are located directly by the water, offering seaside lunches featuring fresh fish and seafood specialities. It is an experience not to be missed during a stay on the French Riviera.
Practical Information About Mala Beach
The beach can be enjoyed throughout the year, although the most pleasant period is from May to October.
During July and August, it is recommended to arrive early in the morning (before 10:00 am) to secure a good spot, as the beach quickly becomes busy.
Outside the peak season, visitors can enjoy complete tranquillity and unforgettable sunsets over the Mediterranean Sea.
