Heritage Days Monaco return on Sunday 4 October 2026, for a new edition themed “Heritage at Risk: reviving, resisting, reimagining,” with the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe in attendance. A day dedicated to rediscovering the richness and diversity of Monaco’s heritage, through architecture, history and transmission.
What’s new in 2026: “Au cœur de Monaco”
This edition introduces a new programme led by the Institut du Patrimoine: “Au cœur de Monaco” (“At the Heart of Monaco”), a series of themed guided tours covering three emblematic districts the Rock (A Roca), Monte-Carlo and Mareterra. Led by specialist heritage guides, some tours are also offered in English, revealing a side of Monaco that goes well beyond the postcard image.
What to expect, based on previous editions
Past editions of Heritage Days in Monaco have opened up to 30–50 sites to the public — the Casino de Monte-Carlo, the Oceanographic Museum, the Yacht Club of Monaco, the Grimaldi Forum, and the Villa Paloma and Villa Sauber of the New National Museum. Free buses and discounted parking traditionally make getting around easier on the day. The detailed 2026 programme will be published in the weeks before the event.
