Cap d’Ail welcomes a wonderful cultural event on Saturday 23rd May 2026 : The Authors in the Garden, held at Villa Les Camélias. A perfect opportunity to combine culture, literature and discovery of the French Riviera, just 10 minutes on foot from Hotel Miramar.
A Free Literary Afternoon in an Exceptional Setting
The Authors in the Garden is a completely free event, organised in partnership with the Town Hall of Cap d’Ail and the bookshop Mots en Marge. From 2pm to 7pm, Villa Les Camélias opens its gardens to welcome book signings, workshops and round tables hosted by Nathalie Iris, bookseller and literary critic.
On the programme : novels, thrillers, children’s books, history and heritage. Literature lovers will have the chance to meet acclaimed authors such as Susie Morgenstern, Sandra Nelson, Cédric Biscay (author of the manga Blitz) and Catherine Bardon. Piano demonstrations are also planned throughout the afternoon.
For children aged 6 and over, a workshop and conference on the theme of spiders is offered from 2:30pm to 4pm. Prior registration is required.
The museum will be open free of charge on that day, allowing visitors to discover the permanent exhibition dedicated to the painter Ramiro Arrue.
